Sustainable Style, Skill-Building, and Community: Our Values in Action
At Shop Slow, we're passionate about creating a space where sustainability and community come together. We believe that everyone deserves the skills and knowledge to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle, and that's why we're dedicated to providing top-notch education and training opportunities.
Our unique atmosphere is just one of the things that sets us apart. From the moment you step into our studio, you'll be surrounded by talented artists, skilled instructors, and a supportive community of like-minded individuals. And it's not just about the vibes – our highly skilled team is committed to delivering exceptional results, whether you're learning a new skill or creating something truly special.
When it comes to our workshops and collaborations with local artists, we're committed to transparency and fairness. We don't set rates for our artists – instead, we work with them to understand their rates and add our operations fee to ensure that we can cover costs for our space and time. This means that our artists are compensated fairly for their work, and you can trust that you're getting an authentic, high-quality experience. At this time, Shop Slow adds $30 per person as our operations fee. The fee overs things such as rent, paying for the time to create the product, marketing, and prep time.
So what can you expect from our workshops? A unique blend of creativity, skill-building, and community connection. You'll learn from the best in the industry, get hands-on experience with sustainable materials and techniques, and leave feeling inspired and empowered. And because we're committed to transparency, you'll know exactly what goes into creating each piece of art or craft.
At Shop Slow, we're all about creating a community that's passionate about sustainability, creativity, and connection. We hope you'll join us on this journey – and that our workshops will inspire you to take the next step towards a more sustainable future.
